I was on the Caps website earlier today and noticed that a local Maryland replacement windows company, Long Fence and Home (aka Long Windows and Long Kitchens) is having a free jersey giveaway – the jersey is signed by the ENTIRE TEAM!

MD Food Bank Improves Food Delivery
The Maryland Food Bank has a new delivery truck that it has received through the “Partnership for Hunger Relief” by Ford Motor Company, Newman’s Own, Inc., and Feeding America. The 2009 14-foot refrigerated Ford box truck is being used to deliver perishable food donations to the Maryland Food Bank’s local partners.

The Maryland Food Bank takes donations of food to give to hungry Marylanders, distributing over 16.7 million pounds of food annually. Facilities are located in Baltimore and Salisbury.
REDI to Start a Business

Baltimore Downtown Partnership 25th Anniversary
The Downtown Partnership will hold a networking event Wednesday, September 16th from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m at the Hilton Baltimore Convention Center Hotel on Pratt Street to celebrate Downtown Partnership’s 25th anniversary and honor the Downtown Baltimore Award winners. The 25th Anniversary Achievement Award will also be announced.
