Tweeter Files Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Again
Another store bites the dust. It’s been just a few months since Boscov’s closed a few stores in the Baltimore area. Now all 94 Tweeter stores will be closing in the U.S., including seven in Maryland. The seven stores that will be closing are located in Bel Air, Bowie, Columbia, Glen Burnie, Owings Mills, Rockville, and Towson. Look out for those going-out-of-business sales. The store closings will take a month and a half to two months to complete.

Baltimore Chick-Fil-A Restaurants Offer Way to Help Veterans November 10th
Eat at a Baltimore Chick-Fil-A restaurant Monday, November 10th and part of the costs will go to the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) if you wish. Though Veterans Day is usually observed on November 11th, certain Chick-Fil-A restaurants in the Baltimore area will donate 20% of the day’s sales to the VFW, a nonprofit that supports U.S. troops and veterans. To include your order in calculation of the donation, visit http://www.helpvfw.org/chick-fil-a to print out the coupon and present it when placing your order.
